It is about belonging…
Established in 1997, Camp Moomba is a specialized summer camp program for kids age 6—17 who are impacted by HIV/AIDS. Many of the children that attend Camp Moomba are confronted by similar issues in their lives, many live in difficult socio-economic situations. By coming together each year they are able to find the type of support that can only come from understanding. However, in this past year we have seen our wait list grow from a couple dozen kids to over 200 children impacted by HIV.

Often times Camp Moomba's greatest impact is providing children with respite from the difficulties in their lives. We provide for them a chance just to be kids. Camp is good for kids; please help us reach more children who would benefit from experiencing Camp Moomba.

Our 15th Annual Camp Moomba summer program will be held July 29 - August 4, 2012 at YMCA Camp Elphinstone located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Gibsons, BC.
